I actually own 2 pair of these and looking at buying a third pair in the darker color. I have worn these in all sorts of environments including dry deserts of the SW, rain, and snow. I have worn them up in the Sierra Nevadas hiking and to walk on the beach in Orange County, Ca. My boots have been with me on excursions in the desert with Air Force EOD teams and have never failed me nor left me with tired sore feet. I love these boots. I have friends that are US Army Rangers who wear these in Afghanistan. They are a all around great boot and it will be a sad day if they are ever stopped being produced.

This is about my 5th pair. I have to get the wide size to fit my foot, and I do add an orthopedic after i get them. But I just love these shoes for style, comfort, and performance. They are the best hiking shoe I have found, and I also wear them to work with jeans whenever i get the chance.
Wears this shoe: Hiking and with sports clothes.
