We took a thong and integrated a toe tube, adding some arabesque to the leather upper through contrastive overlays, perfs and stitch detailing. Sunflower™ sole wraps up and around an EVA footframe with full Merrell cushioning components, including femme-specific Q-Form™ stride alignment.
Board lasted construction. Full grain leather/nubuck/Lycra® neoprene upper.
Smooth Lycra® lining. Cow suede leather wrap footbed. Cita-XY™ footbed treated with Aegis™ antimicrobial technology. Nylon 6.6 injection molded arch shank.
Q-Form™ triple density compression molded EVA footframe with integrated Merrell Air Cushion®.

This is the third pair of Merrell Genoa's I have bought which should tell you something. I have a high arch and the support in this shoe is perfect for me. They are fashionable and well made,too.

Merrells are a very honest brand. They are a great sandal for walking city streets. If you have bunion issues, they promote very good support and alignment. These sandalas allow the proper foot muscles to work and feel better at the end of the day. If you must wear a sandal, they are one of the best for feet. They are secure, suppotive, comfotable, and fairly attractive. If you have narrow feet, don't be affraid to buy 1/2-1 size smaller. If you have wider or thicker feet a 1/2 size smaller is fine.

I bought this shoe because I like Merrell shoes, and they are toe wrap shoes, so will stay on my narrow feet. They are also very comfortable and ergonomically correct for my feet. And an added plus, they look really great on my feet.
Wears this shoe: I wear in the spring summer and fall with capris.

I love these shoes, in fact this is my 3rd pair. They are near impossible to find in the stores and frankly I can't figure out why everyone isn't rushing to buy a pair. This shoe takes about 2-3 wearings to mold to your foot. But then the footbed feels tailor made. The stretchy upper holds you foot securely in place. I'm a teacher and am on my feet all day. The black pair looks passable to work in, but I wear them on long walks too.What would I change? They only come in whole sizes so I buy 1/2 size down. Would be nice if they came in 1/2 sizes too.
