I have owned a few pairs of these, and although I would like to find a different style occasionally looks-wise, I just cannot find a more comfortable and durable pair of shoes out there. Love Merrells, have 7 pairs of them and never had a problem with them. Bought these white shoes for work last spring for work at hospital but only started wearing them 2 weeks ago. Now the white is "flaking" off the left shoe!!!. And the leather underneath is gray so it is really noticeable. The right shoe is okay though. Now too late to return them so not sure what to do. Even wrote to Merrell and had no response. So be aware that this might happen to you and try out shoes immediately.

I was looking for a replacement for a pair of Dansko clogs. I work at a fine dining restaurant and am on my feet for extended periods of time. I like the Merrells, they're comfortable enough. Not THE most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned, but good. My only real complaint is that the leather looks worn in very quickly. Almost from the first night. Not sure if they're slightly bigger than they need to be, and if that's why they wrinkle, but the fit feels good.
