I tried these shoes on in a store and then purchased them online from overseas. I checked the shoe size and bought correct US shoe size, however the shoes which I received were too narrow and a half size too small. Just to clarify, I buy many shoes online and this is the first time (with Merrell) that I have had a problem with size 7 shoes - 2 pairs.These shoes (if the size is correctly marked) are a very comfortable clog-style shoe which will not fall off if you need to run (Code blue etc). They have excellent non-slip soles, are suitable for work in theatre or on the unit; they can be washed.I gave these shoes to a family member with smaller feet (size 6-6.5) who is now very happy to wear them. The shipping costs to/from Australia made it too expensive to return the shoes, but this should not be an issue for US customers because of the free shipping policy.

The Merrell Encore Breeze is extremely comfortable. They feel like sneakers. I can wear them all day and never get tired. They provide excellent support and look great too. I am enjoying them immensely.

I spend 40+ hours a wek on my feet. I am over 60! I would not be able to work without Merrell shoes. They take about 2 weeks to break in but after that pure comfort.
