I am a nurse and am on my feet for 12 hour shifts - these shoes have made my back feel less achy at the end of my shift.

The Merrell Encore Breeze Pro is roomy enough to add a pad and a small arch support, but has enough of its own arch that my orthotics are too much. It's a comfortable summer shoe, as the mesh allows a little breeze to penetrate, which is very cooling. A Merrell fan for several years, I plan to add more of the Breeze Pros to my shoe wardrobe, which includes the sheepskin-lined suede slide and a leather one.
Wears this shoe: Almost every day - in warm - and even hot - weather.

I have worn clogs before, but, this certainly has won hands down. I work in a doctors office as well as an ER and I am on my feet constantly. No more sore, aching feet! The fit is true to size, your foot stays in the clog while your driving and it basically feels like you're wearing bedroom slippers. If all Merrell shoes are like this, then they will have a customer for life. I highly recommend the shoe, not only for the comfort (can't stress that enough), but also for the construction of it. The price wasn't bad either! For me, it was a win/win situation.
