Product Description (Women's Merrell Cruise Control)
The all-season option is for over-pronators who want the kind of foot guidance allowing them to bring it up to speed and keep it there even over touchy terrain. Besides a straighter, more filled-in last, the Cruise Control's visible TrailSpring support and cushioning tubes are denser on the medial side for improved torsional support and Q-Form stride alignment in an EVA footframe. Vibram® Demon sole includes spines and studs for traction through the full range of a stride, and channels to siphon off water.
Motion control trail shoe. New semi-straight trail running last. Slip lasted constuction with EVA insole. AirMesh upper with lightweight leather trim. Dri-Lex® comfort zone lining with Aegis® antimicrobial. 3M Scotchlite 360° reflective webbing. Bellows tongue with lace keeper flap. Kevlar® lace and TPU molded lace lock system. Heel securing top eyelet system.
Injection molded TPU heel counter support. Ventilation and drainage system in forefoot. Forefoot protection upper design with Gaiter hook. Slits at toe cap allow expansion and prevent toe trauma. Anatomical EVA footbed with Etc.® anti-friction mesh lining. Q-Form triple density compression molded EVA footframe. Injection TPU TrailSpring structural cushioning and support system in heel.
Gaiter strap channel at arch bridge. Air Cushion® EVA midsole. 5mm sole lug depth. Vibram® Demon dual density/TC5+ rubber.

What a great shoe!

The shoe is very comfortable and supportive. I had a flair up of plantar fascitis and then 2 stress fractures in the same foot. After I got out of the boot, I had to wear sneakers for 6-8 weeks. After buying 2 other brands, I found this shoe and I could wear this shoe w/o pain to my foot.
Wears this shoe: I wear this shoe all the time.

Great light-weight summer shoe

I was hesitant to try this shoe as I am not a trail runner (or runner of any sort), but find that it is a super comfortable, light-weight, breathable and good looking shoe. I can wear them with my orthotics, and the roomy toe box is awesome. A perfect shoe for summer daily wear and activities.

Nice, But a Bit Roomy

Reviewer: Stacey H from Texas
Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked
Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked
I have almost narrow feet, and the toe box is a little too roomy, but not so much that I can't deal with it. It seems to be a good shoe.
Wears this shoe: At work on concrete and for walks around the pasture.
Great With One Complaint

Looks and feels great. Light and airy for warmer weather . Lining on shoe interior is not durable, especially where the laces are inserted.
Wears this shoe: Daytime walking - am on feet all day.
