It is a good looking shoe with a great tread. The elastic closure makes it difficult to get on my 2-year-old. I would order a merrill shoe for my son again, but may think twice about this style.

I had previously bought this same shoe in a smaller size for my son on the recommendation of his physical therapist. He needed new shoes for school. His old shoes had not yet been worn out but he just grew out of them! I'm happy with the shoe.

I thought these shoes would be easy to put on my little boy, as it has a velcro fastening. As it turns out they are really hard work to get on and seem narrow.

I've had the hardest time trying to find a shoe that fits my 1 year old! So I decided just to start looking around. This shoe seemed like it would work for his foot and it does! They slip on and off easily but he doesn't seem to take them off. They're great!
