My last pair of Merrels lasted me 15 years! My first impression with these boots are that they are going to last a long long time! These have an awesome sole, and feel very comfortable on my feet. I haven't been hiking in them yet.

I bought these shoes for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. He has been extremely happy with them and we have been on many hikes since then. They keep his feet dry and comfortable and offer great support for his high arches.

This is hands down my favorite shoe! Perfect for gym workout, casual wear and all around great choice! I can't say enough about this shoe! Please note, I have not worn this shoe in the full blowen Summer months yet and I suppose it might be a little on the warm side, but I will talk that if its the case because these are that good.Modern and yet a touch of class!
