I have been wearing Merrell Mocs for years now, and absolutely love them. When it came time to replace my running/outdoor shoes, I decided to go with the Merrell Chameleon Hex. I couldn't be happier. Feet are much less sweaty, and the support is PHENOMENAL. Great wet traction. It seems that these can take a beating and last!

I ordered this shoe to replace/augment some older merrell chameleon shoes, which are far far warmer than these. I was looking for something which would be cooler to wear - and these are it. The tops are much more vented and seem much cooler. I ended up with a half size smaller than the older shoes but they fit great.

I was looking for something light, (close to a water shoe) but durable. I found it with the Merrell Chameleon Hex. It is as light as a running shoe but with great tread and breathable. I have used it on hikes in the Canadian Rockies to rock-climbing walls with the kids. It has a nice arch support and wears like iron. So far it has been an excellent kick-around shoe and generally the first shoe I grab for in the morning. I highly recommend it with no reservations.
