This low-cut is as adaptable to weather conditions as it is to a broad range of outdoor pursuits, thanks to waterproof, highly breathable Gore-Tex® gasket construction with extended comfort range. Merrell In-Board™ footframe with Air Cushion™ keeps the profile low while Q-Form™ midsole promotes a biomechanically efficient gait. Vibram® Chameleon Arc™ sole combines ribs, Octogrip™ tread and crescent lugs for multi-directional grip and stability.
GORE-TEX® gasket construction. Waterproof suede leather upper. GORE-TEX® XCR® fabric lining. Breathable padded tongue.
Injection molded TPU external counter. Injection molded TPU instep stability arm. Protective molded rubber rand. Protective molded rubber toe bumper.

An average shoe

This shoe fits about a half size too small. It is exceptionally hot and a tad on the heavy side. However, it is very sturdy, provides excellent traction, solid footing, resists water and has a nice fit provided I order a half size bigger (which seems common for me with respect to this brand). The edges at the ankle rub a little, but otherwise a good shoe that I expect to last me a long time. My complaints about it aren't enough to justify returning it.

I bought the shoes mostly to wear when it snows since they're waterproof. They look great, feel wonderful, and have lasted really well. I will not hesitate to buy another pair since they're some of the best fitting shoes I've ever owned.

A very comfortable shoe. Wears well. But the color was darker than I had expected. I purchased the shoe because Merell makes a good shoe that holds up well in weather, but still looks good for everyday activities.

I LOVE these shoes! I frequently walk through the fields and orchards around our home - these shoes give excellent support and keep me dry when the grass is damp. Much better than wearing rubber shoes that don't breath. They are so perfect for me that I ordered a second pair - I'd hate to find that they are discontinued when the first pair wears out so I wanted a backup.

These shoes are sturdy, stiff hiking shoes that are comfortable to wear and give good support.
