I've had my eye on these Merrells for a while as a good traveling and casual shoe, and can't be happier I finally got them! I'm sold on Merrells, as this is my fourth pair and they all fit and wear really well. I usually wear an 8, and can wear these with or without socks, and both are fine--without is has just a bit more wiggle room, but not too big. Nice and light enough to toss on, but having a closed toe shoe is nice for other activities.

I like the look of the shoe. The best part was the anti-slip on the inside of the heel (or so it seemed at first try-on), there is rubber or plastic in there to keep your heel from slipping out. However, I have a narrow heel and the anti slip heel is actually harder on a narrow heel than regular fabric. It has caused blisters and I am still trying to break them (or my feet!) in. I wish that Merrell would offer more width options (i.e. narrow heel, regular width, etc.)
