Overall, I like these shoes, though they do wear more like a clog than a loafer on me. They're good work shoes for my slightly narrow feet.

Merrells are great! These shoes though were surprising. I usually wear a wide width, so since they didn't come in a wide, I ordered a 1/2 size larger than usual. They were actually too big. So I sent them back (great return policy!!) and got a size 7 med and they fit perfectly! Love them!

The Apure is a great Merrell shoe. I wear it with jeans. I can dress casual at work, but I don't wear sneakers so these are perfect. Very comfortable. I wear the black ones with thin to medium socks and I put them on and wore them all day the first day and thereafter without any problems. Two things that would make them better. Get rid of the seam down the middle of the toe box and give them all-leather lining. They have the feel of a comfortable sneaker but look like a nice shoe!

I love Merrell shoes and usually buy them two at a time. Previous reviews said they seemed to run 1/2 size bigger, but Merrells usually fit me perfectly. They were right - I had to return them and reorder them a 1/2 size smaller, which seemed to fit fine until I started to wear them walking. They have a bit of a rub in the back, which is very unusual for me and my Merrells. They are light and stylish (for a Merrell anyway), but something is off with the fitting. I hope I can break them in without too much difficulty.
