I've been a fan of Merrell hiking shoes and boots since I purchased my first pair 10 years ago...the styling and design of Merrell shoes has always caught my attention above other brands of hiking boots. These boots felt broken in and comfortable right out of the box, just like an old pair of jeans. I just recently returned from a weekend hiking trip, and the Merrells felt great after 25 miles. They aren't waterproof, but I knew that going in...no regrets at all...oh - and the Merrell boots I bought 10 years ago? Still got 'em...

I own 7 pairs of Merrells. These are super lightweight and a very comfortable shoe. As with all Merrells, they are true to size. Great shoe for casual wearing or if you are on your feet all day.

My husband was very pleased with this shoe. He specifically wanted a waterproof shoe, and he liked the idea of the GoreTex also. I have no idea what GoreTex is or does, but I know it's a highly touted material in his hunting clothes/boots. He has other Merrell shoes, and he finds them all to be very comfortable.
Wears this shoe: Travel, everyday errands, etc.

The shoe is very comfortable with lots of padding and no laces are the best part of the shoe ! Its sizing was also perfect and I wear this shoe pretty much everywhere I go. I wear this the whole day and it feels very light despite the shoe being somewhat heavy when held in hand.I like the design of the shoe very much - the way they have put mesh in between the shoe body is very good. The Vibram sole looks extremely durable and I notice no wear out over last 1 month even though I walk and bike almost 5-6 miles everyday to work wearing them. Unfortunately, they were made to suffer a downpour once and I thought the external velvet like shoe surface would have got bad but even after getting fully soaked, the shoes look almost the same when they came out of the box . Looks like it will last for years !
