Just bought my second Pair December 01, 2012 Reviewer: Ed from Maui, Hawaii 30 years Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Bought my first pair in Aspen eight years ago. Living on Maui, I wear mephistos 95 % of the time, including social events. They have shaped to my foot, and have been to a shoe shop twice in eight years for minor "maintenance". I will still wear them during rough weather while keeping my new ones for everyday wear. Wears this shoe: 95 of the time

Very comfortable...but I did not like the look October 02, 2011 Reviewer: Kukar from San Francisco Bay Area, California Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I had my eyes on these sandals for quite a while and I finally pulled the trigger a couple of weeks ago. As soon as I tried them on I was disappointed in their looks. The felt extremely comfortable however the third buckle strap (the one closest to the ankle) makes them difficult to just slip into as you have to hold the stap up to get your feet in. Also they look very bulky and less appealing than the traditional sandal with two staps. After a couple of days of trying them on with different clothes at home, I concluded they are not very attractive and therefore decided to return them. I will be purchasing the regular Mephisto sandal with the two straps but the same footbed as these are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn...

Great sandal With One Warning September 29, 2010 Reviewer: Ralph from South Jersey from South Jersey Shoe Size: Felt full size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width This sandal looks great and I received numerous compliments on them. They also feel really good on your feet. However they run a FULL SIZE larger than marked and that is important since there is no back strap. Wears this shoe: In warm weather for casual dress situations.

Well-constructed sandal May 07, 2010 Reviewer: Mikey from Sarasota, Florida Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I have come to the conclusion that shoes are worth some extra investment, especially since I work on my feet. My old sandals needed replacing first. I have been looking at the Mephisto line, the Zachs seemed right and while pricey they are worth it. Nice construction, nice look, and after 2-3 days of breaking in the footbed feels great. Nice on the feet, legs, lower back, spine and neck. Because of the construction they are probably a bit heavier than your cheap sandal or flip-flop but you know you're wearing something really well made. Wears this shoe: Around the house all the time, on errands, to ball games.
