The Mephisto Violette is a beautiful sandal. The white is a light grayish-white and is extremely comfortable. The leather that separates the big toe from the other toes is inially irritating - but improves as you wear them. The support in the arch is great. They are extremely well made and look it.
Wears this shoe: I purchased these to wear at a Hawaii beach wedding.

I LOVE mephisto sandals. They're practically the only sandals I wear all summer. After getting a pair to wear walking all over France for a couple of weeks, I became a convert. These sandals (I have 2 pairs)are versatile and fun as they are a little dressier but can be casual too.
