The sandal rests on a rugged rubber outsole that keeps a firm grip on any surface. Mephisto Violette goes easily from poolside to shopping to just relaxing. The latex-mouse used in the design of the innersoles of all MEPHISTO shoes is your guarantee of exceptional comfort at all times.

Fit: This style is available in whole sizes only and tends to run small. If you normally order a 1/2 size it is recommended that you order the next full size up. For example, if you normally purchase a size 6 1/2 we recommend purchasing a size 7.

These are so cute and comfy. Who knew you could have both in a shoe? As always, Mephisto delivered on the promise for comfort. I have a high arch so these have become my "go to" shoes after a long day at work.

The shoe strap between toes does stretch out too much with wearing; but that might be nature of leather.

The Mephisto Violette is a beautiful sandal. The white is a light grayish-white and is extremely comfortable. The leather that separates the big toe from the other toes is inially irritating - but improves as you wear them. The support in the arch is great. They are extremely well made and look it.
Wears this shoe: I purchased these to wear at a Hawaii beach wedding.
