I have owned Mephisto shoes for many years without a problem. These are overpriced. Merrell offers a better flip flop for less money. The toe thong stretched after a few wearings, and are now not usable.

I have purchased three pairs of the Men's Mephisto Ubaldino sandals.They are terrific. Fit and feel are top notch.Leather is wearing well thus far - no fading or cracking. I highly recommend this product.

I was very surprised to find that this sandal did not have an anatomically shaped footbed. Since it is a thong sandal, the toe piece sets the placement of the foot on the foot bed. I have normally shaped/sized feet. When I put these sandals on my big toe on each foot was overhanging the inside edge of the sandal.I was very disappointed because these are nice-looking sandals by Mephisto, priced reasonably.

Could this be the best flip flop in the world?--I think so. Good looking,just a quality look with fine leather and construction. Excellent arches--both longitudinal and metatarsal--so if you need orthotics with other shoes you probably won't with these. Comfortable sole. Even the post is fashioned so that it fits comfortably between your toes.
