Mephisto's classic walking shoe with Air relax system uppers made with full-grain nubuck leather for ultimate breathability and durability. Each shoe is lined with a removable felt insole to reduce friction and for convenient cleaning and replacement. The Air Jet system channels air throughout the shoe with every step to keep the foot fresh and healthy. These shoes also contain virgin latex foam mid-soles to absorb heel strike and to form to the foot for a customized fit. Constructed on Anatomically Correct Full Fitting Last for proper heel, arch and foot support when walking. The built-in layer of "latex-mousse" in the soles offers the entire body the sensation of walking on a "carpet made of soft cusions".

Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2. Mephisto shoes are designed to fit loosely in the heel. For maximum comfort, the heel should be cradled, not fit snugly.

This pair replaces an old pair of Mesphisto Rush which replaced an old pair of Mephisto Rush. Once you wear this shoe it will become your all time favorite walking shoe.

I used to own two pairs of these shoes but they always felt just a little too short. This time, I ordered a half size larger than my shoe size and they are perfect. They are very well made and I expect them to last for years, as did my old shoes.

I have a narrow foot and the laces on the shoe make it hug my foot and give me great stability. I have a pair much like this that I have worn and worn for maybe 15 years. I find this pair to be as comfortable as my last pair which I wore and wore. They were my favorite shoes, period. These feel like they will be just as wonderful.
