The latex-mouse used in the design of the innersoles of all MEPHISTO shoes is your guarantee of exceptional comfort at all times. Gore-Tex® membrane prevents water from penetrating the shoes but at the same time allowing for perspiration to move out of its microscopic pores, thus giving the foot a dry and comfortable environment.

This is the third Mephisto and second pair of Norman sandals I have worn. They are comfortable, cool and last for years. As a Florida resident these shoes get a TON of use and last for years.
Wears this shoe: Any decent day in casual surroundings.

My husband avoids the fussy, multiple strappy, velcroed sandals so popular now. He loves these mephistos because they are classic, uncluttered and masculine. They are contoured, adjustable and very comfortable. He wears them with or without socks.
