ugly but not as ugly as some others but so comfortable. I wear them to work ( I'm A periodontist in private practice) and to walk, and in all but formal social situation. I have at least 6 or 7 other Mephistos but these and my 2 pair of golf shoes are the most comfortasble-for mr. My first pair wore out and I just boughty these because I couldn't wait for these to be rebuilt.
