I needed a comfortable pair of shoes to take on a trip, and I didn't have a long time to break them in... these were perfect! My husband- who already had a pair- forewarned me to order a half size smaller than my usual U.S.size; that was perfect! After wearing them around the house a couple times, we were off to Paris, then Amsterdam... traipsing through airports and then walking around the cities. These are very comfortable shoes, with little or no break-in required
