This is my second pair in 4 years. I've worn my first pair so much that I had to get a new pair. I like the feel of the sole, and I like the fashion-forward shape of the shoe and toe. They look good with casual clothes in a more interesting way than the usual tennies or sneakers. What I don't like is spilling something with oil on them. It's hard to clean certain things off of nubuck, and it's a light color. But I really like the light color. Plan to treat them before wearing.
Wears this shoe: For walking, for casual wear when I want to be comfortable walking.

I really like these shoes and wear it whenever I leave the house. Because of my foot problem, these seem to be the only shoes I can wear these days. I also really like the quality of the material. However, even with this shoe, my foot starts hurting after a mile or so of walking.

This pair of Ladina is really fantastic; the width is wider because it is a walking shoe. It is the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned! I love them! I have a foot problem (nerve tingling, aka Morton's Neuroma) which is always made worse during the day by my non-Mephisto shoes. I have another pair of Mephisto shoes, which are dressier. But, with Mephisto's and this Ladina style in particular, I have not experienced any aches/pains in my left foot that I usually would. I plan to use them for our family trip to NYC later this year.

I'm between a 7 and a 7.5, and the 7.5 is definitely too roomy for my feet. If you're in-between sizes, order down half a size. This shoe could use more arch support but is acceptably comfortable for walking to and from work in the city and not being too obvious that they're sneakers.

I normally swear by Mephisto but the Ladina was a huge let down. There is little to no arch support, they are at least a full size larger and very wide, even on my wide foot. I have walked 8 miles at a time in the Mephisto Rush and my feet felt great, but a couple hours around the house in the Ladina and my feet are uncomfortable. I would have returned them but unfortunatly didn't know how uncomfortable they are until after I wore them and Shoebuy won't take back worn shoes.
