I am a big Mephisto fan, with 10 pair in my closet, including my first pair of Match, now about 9 years old. I bought these to replace a pair of Rebels that were my favortie shoes of all time, but lost on a ski trip. The Kamos are a great replacement. They are not as "sneaker-like" but still casual. The uppers immediately took on a bit of a distressed look - that is why I gave four stars instead of five. I love the look but some won't. Great tread for my Rocky Mountain hikes. The tongue is connected to the shoe on the side, that fold-out sort of thing. Very, very comfortable. Waterproof is nice. Shoebuy.com is nice to deal with, as well.
