The shoes are very attractive, nice color and style. What was surprising, however, was the overall size.... much larger in appearance than anticipated!

Great comfort and support as expected from Mephisto. Very high quality leather. Can be worn with dress slacks and sport coat or dressed down and wear with nicer jeans. As with most Mephisto, shoe size runs larger than U.S. traditional size. Ilgar runs 1 full size smaller for me. Great shoe!

I have the brown color. Stylish, streamlined but very comfortable, feels almost like a good athletic shoe which it resembles in construction, with a high lace-up. Note that Mephistos are wider than most other shoes in regular width, closer to "wide or EE" in other makes. Although I marked it as true to width, this is because I am used to this make.
