I purchased a pair of these 4 years ago and still own them. Granted I only wear them in the summer, but still that is a long time for a pair of sandals to still look good. I am flat footed and this model has enough support that I can wear them for social ocaasions or short shopping trips. If I want to go to an amusement part or participate in a shopping marathon, I would not wear this style. However, I am VERY flat footed and have heals spurs so I pamper my feet. I love this brand. Yes, they are pricey but considering a paid maybe $100 bucks 4 or 5 years ago, that's $20-$25 per year. They are worth the money.
