I love this shoe, and I'm sorry it seems that Mephisto is phasing it out of their line. This is my fourth pair of Geikes, and they are what I wear most of the time. I've found them very comfortable when I have worn them while tramping about European cities and while spending time on my feet at trade shows. I highly recommend them to anyone.

When a broken leg put me in a cast it was difficult to find a shoe that was equal in height to the "walking cast." I had purchased a pair of Mephisto Geikes on a recent business trip to California and they were the perfect height. I couldn't find them locally and a friend pointed me to Shoebuy. I'll be back.

I purchased this shoe to wear in my job as a nurse on a busy labor and delivery unit. The shoe was a little narrow and I had to have the front stretched a little, but otherwise the shoe is very comfortable and of high quality.

This shoe is, without any hesitation, the most comfortable and durable shoe I have ever owned( I am over 50 and love shoes). As an occupational therapist, I am on my feet a lot. After wearing this shoe all day, my feet feel wonderful. I wear them almost everyday. I wish they had more colors... then I would wear them everyday!
