I purchased a pair of these 4 years ago and still own them. Granted I only wear them in the summer, but still that is a long time for a pair of sandals to still look good. I am flat footed and this model has enough support that I can wear them for social ocaasions or short shopping trips. If I want to go to an amusement part or participate in a shopping marathon, I would not wear this style. However, I am VERY flat footed and have heals spurs so I pamper my feet. I love this brand. Yes, they are pricey but considering a paid maybe $100 bucks 4 or 5 years ago, that's $20-$25 per year. They are worth the money.

Have purchased several Heidi's throughout the last couple of decades and have worn each of them completely out. They have the ease of Birkenstocks with a snugger fit and better fitting arch. Sincerely hope Mephisto continues making this style.
