Made with high bulk Acrylic, Friction Free® fibers and utilizes a Blister Guard® system. The Friction Free® fibers are in the heel as well as toe to shield and aid in shock absorption as well as prevent abrasion. The Blister Guard® system utilizes a patented technology of knitting Friction Free® fibers into the heel pad of the toe of the sock to prevent blisters, calluses and hot spots.

These are the best socks I've ever owned. I apply Eurecin Aquaphor to my dry feet and that usually breaks down wool socks. Not these. These socks are solid. I'm just sad that Mephisto is never on sale anymore.
