Spinnaker series. The anti-slip soles offer clear advantages on wet and slippery surfaces. Gore-Tex® linings are the perfect answer to keep feet dry and perfectly breathable. Gore-Tex® membrane prevents water from penetrating the shoes but at the same time allowing for perspiration to move out of its microscopic pores, thus giving the foot a dry and comfortable environment.

Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7. Mephisto shoes are designed to fit loosely in the heel. For maximum comfort, the heel should be cradled, not fit snugly.

Bought these shoes 1/2 size smaller (8 instead of 8.5) on the recommendation of the website. They were slightly tight initially but now fit well after some break-in. I have many pairs in the Mephisto line and they fit very comfortably in the 8.5 size. I normally need a "wide" in other makes but the regular Mephisto fits me well and they do not sell "wide" sizes. The shoes look really good in Cordovan Smooth and work with a variety of pants from black to beige. They are very comfortable and appear durable as is usual for Mephisto. Highly recommended!

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I had an old pair for about nine years that finally wore out and I was so happy that they brought the style back. Also, this is a great shoe for traveling through Europe.

This is a great shoe, very comfortable and well made. The sizing is off by a half size. I wear an 11, had to exchange this shoe for a 10 1/2.

A good traditional looking loafer. I bought it in the other two colors a few years ago. Decided now to add it in cordovan. The several other reviews saying it runs large are correct. Order down 1/2 US size. I own numerous Mephisto shoes -- this is the first one that seems off in its sizing. Having returned for a smaller size, I am happy with the shoe.

Like most if not all Mephisto shoes they feel broken in from the first time you wear them. Mephisto shoes wear like iron. I have a pair that I purchased 15 years ago look and feel new. I have had them resoled 2 times and keep them polished, but 15 years from a pair of shoes is good value!
