I first bought Mephisto shoes two years ago,in Vence,in the Cote D'Azur,France.They were by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.The next year I bought a pair of black "cool-air'Mephisto's,and they too were superb.I am confident my new Cap vert will not disappoint in any way!!

I bought these because my wife insisted I needed better shoes after I slipped and fell in my usual penny-loafers . These have a much better sole, are very comfortable, and I expect to be wearing them for years.

Had to send back due to the size difference, but that was not a problem at all. The shoe itself is very comfortable and nice-looking. Very versatile and nice enough to wear with sport coat and tie. This is my 3rd pair of Mephistos (different models) and they wear forever.

Shoes were a replacement for the same shoe I purchased about five years ago. They have been resoled twice and it was time for the replacement. The convienience of buying through Shoebuy was great. Order came as promised. In this case these seemed to be no savings as everyone was offering the same $295 price.
