Fit is terrific. Velcro straps make them perfect on your feet. The heel is not too high so they're comfortable to walk in. I liked the texture of the croc. Two pairs seemed absolutely necessary and I've not been disappointed.
Wears this shoe: Everywhere, except when running agility or flyball with my dogs.

I have several mephistos (bonito, hike perf, hike) which are all excellent walking shoes. But I didn't know just how different the "match" is. It's incredible. Looks are deceiving; the shoe has an incredibly well designed arch support, making walking a totally new experience. After the first 15-30 mins, your feet adapt to this and it's a real pleasure. Very comfortable fit, and I have EEE feet (note: I went up a 1/2 size, which made the fit perfect for me). These really are comfortable walking shoes. And, I will most likely buy another pair, they're worth the money.

These sandals are simply outstanding. Great fit and exceptionally comfortable. My second pair, by the way. Mephisto shoes can sometimes feel a bit too wide, but the Sams are perfect for a medium width foot. I have friends who also own them and have gotten more than 10 years worth of wear so far.
Wears this shoe: After work and on weekends.

Bought my first pair in Aspen eight years ago. Living on Maui, I wear mephistos 95 % of the time, including social events. They have shaped to my foot, and have been to a shoe shop twice in eight years for minor "maintenance". I will still wear them during rough weather while keeping my new ones for everyday wear.
