I bought this shoe because of the Mephisto name and because of its good looks. It is indeed a great shoe, but I still wonder why Mephisto shoes are so expensive. Certainly, the leather is not of a higher quality than that of other less expensive shoes. Of course, it is designed well, but still I wonder...

I have just returned from a 14 day cruise where I wore these shoes everyday with special comfort. On vacation there was a lot of walking and I can honestly state that the shoes never hurt even though they were brand new!Further more even with this heavy use, they still looked good when I returned home.

These sandals are comfortable but if you have a wide foot, you might find these too narrow. The length is short too. The style is quite nice. This is a good sandal if you need one for walking or standing on your feet for lengthy periods and there's no breaking-in period. It's a good shoe but the sizing is misleading.

I was introduced to this model when I was recovering from a bad foot injury and failed surgery ten years ago. Even though I had become a Mephisto sandal wearer, nothing, and I mean nothing, has helped more than this model, to first heal and then cope with a defective foot and normalise my life. Please never, never discontinue this model!
