Fit like a glove right from the start. I normally take a 9.5 USA, but I had to order a smaller size because it runs longer and wider by a half size. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding.

Very comfortable smart looking shoes. Black is a nice color ---the chestnut brown is too lite acolor for all season use. I can walk without any back pain in the Abel shoe. I have been wearing mephisto shoes for the last 10 years. I have been wearing Abels since they were first introduced.

I have owned many other pairs of European comfort shoes, but never wanted to invest in a pair of Mephistos. What a mistake. The Abel is a great shoe - extremely comfortable and stylish.
