Orthofeet 410
Didnt break in correctly
April 21, 2013
Reviewer: Mark from Rochester, NY
I've been wearing this style of Orthofeet shoes for a few years now. For the most part I have been pleased but this particular pair just did not break in properly. It is the size I always order but for some reason I am getting blisters on my toes and heels. I tried to make comfort tweaks with the included inserts but to no avail. The fit was good the first week or so but as time went on they fit more and more poorly. Not sure what went wrong with this pair. Unfortunately, I can not return since they obviously have been worn and I threw out the box.

This is the first time I have ordered these shoes. I wish they had included instructions on how to use the extra two layers of inserts (something other orthotic shoes provide.) I have an orthotic brace on the left foot, and I have to get shoes that are wide enough to accommodate the brace. I am pleased with these shoes, but wish I had bout 1/2 size larger. (I read reviews that they ran 1/2 size larger. I did not find this to be true.) They are very comfortable. They look like regular shoes, rather than an orthotic shoe. They scuff quickly.

Great Comfortable Shoe

This shoe supports a heavy man better than any other shoe I've ever worn. Medium size fit my fairly wide feet better than wide.Highly recommend.

Felt a little large for the size, I would recomend ordering 1/2 size smaller than you normally buy.The shoe at first felt pretty stiff on the foot bed but after wearing these shoes for a day on the concrete floor all day my foot pain was greatly diminished! I have a hard time finding shoes that do not leave my feet hurting. These are also stable - supporting the ancle. I would highly recomend these shoes.

I first ordered a 9 1/2 per suggestion to order 1/2 size larger and my normal width of WW. I did return for a size 9 wide and it still fits my orthodic. So I would not size up and just order your normal size and consider ordering a size less in the width, or you will slip out of them.
