Well built and thoughtfully designed

Very sturdy construction, lots of useful pockets and dividers. I bought this for overnight business trips and the size is just right for a change of clothes, a few toiletries, and a laptop. The detachable design is clever (you can remove the frame and wheels) but the execution is a little tedious - 3 different zippers attach the bag to the frame.
The ultimate briefcase

If you need to carry a lot of things and travel often overnight, then this is the bag for you. It's three bags in one: a carry bag, a roller bag, and a PC carry case. Although a little heavy and large, it's robust and well-made. The zippers are very beefy! I bought the nylon bag, but you may want to think about the leather version.
McKlein Chicago Computer Case

Reviewer: Bob from Long Island, New York
This is an excellent computer case with plenty of storage space. There are lots of compartments and I find it really perfect for working in the field as a field engineer. The only thing I could say against it is that if you are using it in the rain, the leather does absorb water, and you would need to waterproof it if you use it a lot in wet weather. Otherwise, it is perfect!

McKlein Chicago leather

This is a great bag. One of my complaints with other rollers was the lack of space. This one has an additional compartment for books, extra files, clothes, etc. The computer compartment has plenty of padding. The only complaint I have is minor and that is that there is nothing to portect the computer from the zipper itself. The computer compartment is large enoough to accomidate my 17" laptop. Plenty of pockets in the front compartment for pens, cell phone, pda, and such. The leather is stable and sturdy. I have no concerns about wearing it out anytime soon. It's a bit difficult to zip off the roller platform but doable. If I had it to do over again,I still buy this bag.

Ample Replacement
October 18, 2006
Reviewer: Trent from Dallas
The bag is really awesome. I had a similar leather bag for about 10 years with more frequent flyer miles than most people get in a lifetime. I replaced it with this bag as it was a close to mine previous as possible and had the detachable cart. My dislikes are: There is really not a good folder pocket; the back compartment is better suited for the laptop because of the padding, but center pocket is where it needs to go. I wish it had a velcro junk pocket. It is a touch heavy, but they do send the lite version for just the laptop if you want to ease the load. I would definitely buy it again. FYI they say it is lifetime warrantied, so I should never have to buy another. Hopefully they warranty the zippers as that is what finally gave up on mine.
