Nice and light, warm and easily packable. Great for travel to cooler climates, and in the late fall and early spring New England climate. Bought to use for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the Northeast. Can also be easily worn under a waterproof shell for rainy weather. I purchased one size up for layering and a looser fit. Love the violet color. I would highly recommend this Marmot Venus jacket!

I love this jacket. It's slightly tailored, yet roomy. It's comfortable in 60 degree weather and in 20 degree weather, too. It packs into its own pocket for easy traveling and it just feels good. I think the sleeves could be a little longer and I have normal-length arms. If you have long arms, you may not like it. Other than that, no complaints.
