I'm a retired correction officer, all I would wear is the viper. Its like walking on air. And great for your back. Now I work 12 hours a day and still wear my vipers. If you don't know about them please try them. Great Product.

I like this so well that I have two pairs of this style, in addition to a Magnum higher boot and a pair of Rocky's that I got to wear on duty as a police officer. This one is my favorite ever! The only problem is that the right shoe in only one of the two pairs developed a squeak in it soon after getting them. It's only noticeable on smooth surfaces, but it does take away all of the stealth of being a police shoe.
Wears this shoe: always on duty and sometimes casual also.

I believe this shoe is the same as one I used to buy through a postal uniform supply company, but am not sure. At any rate, it is a really great shoe, and is comfortable right out of the box. No break-in required.

This is my second pair of the Magnum Viper. They are very comfortable and durable and they provide excellent support immediately out of the box. There is no breakin period with these shoes. I work in construction and I am on my feet all day. I am exceptionally happy with these shoes and will buy another pair in the future.
