After sending these back twice for a different size, I am now content with the boots. I have another pair of Shoes from Magnum that are size 9-1/2 eee and fit great, so I ordered 9-1/2 wide and they were huge! I returned them and ordered 9-1/2 medium, still too big. I returned them again and ordered 9 med and they fit great. I love the boots, they are light, comfortable, and offer great support. They are advertized as waterproof but I won't know until the snow flies. Also they do not breath well. I would be concerned about buying another model from Magnum since their sizes don't seem consistant across models, but thanks to ShoeBuy for free shipping both ways 3 times I finally got a good fit.

These boots were remarkabley comfortable right out of the box requiring no break in. I was really pleased with them until at about six months of wear I noticed that a seam were the fabric and leather are sewn together was coming apart. No biggie, sometimes the cutters end up with a piece a bit small and a little shoe goo had everything working fine. Unfortunately over the course of a few more weeks several seams came open and needed repair in order to keep using the boot. With shoe goo sealing the open seams these boots have continued to be water proof and are still very comfortable to wear. Plenty of wear left in the sole, but the upper was very poorly assembled.

This is the only boot I will ever wear for work from now till eternity. No other boot I have ever tried was as comfortable and long lasting than the Magnum. Tough, lightweight, excellent support. After working a double shift of sixteen hours with any other boot my legs, feet, and knees feel as if they will never take another step, but with the Magnum I can work a double and still go to soccer practice and play a full 90 minutes.

I bought these for my son who has a narrow foot. He thought the ankle padding was too stiff and gave the shoes to his dad who also has a narrow foot. His dad wears them with thick sox and likes them, but the ankle pad needs breaking in. For a person looking for a waterproof, comfortable boot, this is the one. My son would have liked them if they hit his foot below the ankle.
Wears this shoe: all day, all situations.
