although they feel quite roomy, they are comfortable. i thought they were slip resistant but i dont think so. i work on wet floors alot and find they are slippery.

I bought the Magnums as a summer boot, if you can imagine such a critter, because of the air passages through fabric sides. I'm on my feet all day and make occasional mad dashes, but I cannot afford the summer comfort of a sandal. I need very strong support for my crushed & exhausted feet, from ankle through arch & forefoot. I also need reliable lateral sturdiness, as I sprain my knees just thinking about trying not to. I was a little surprised to see how much like a police foot it looked! Still, the package inserts made the point - it's a uniform shoe. It's alright with me, in the end. This boot is extremely rigid, though with a couple of wearings it has begun to ease up a little. I hoped to be able to use both the padded insert and my own rigid orthotics, but found that they left too little room for instep comfort. Perhaps when the boot's broken in a tad more I'll try the combo again as, other than my too-sensitive instep, the walk with both inserts was quite pleasant. I'm really satisfied with the purchase.

This is the second pair of Magnums I've had although they are different styles they are both comfortable. I use the boots for motorcycle riding. They were comfortable from the first day I wore them although I had to get used to the boot collar which is just above the ankles. I did a lot of walking in the boots and they remained comfortable. I highly recommend the Magnums.

These shoes are great I work in a cooler and they are comfortable, my feet keep warm and don't get wet with all the water I step on.
