I wanted to replace my slouchy boots. I like the strap detail on these and they remind me of my old boots. At first they were hard to walk in because there is a disguised platform inside. I've gotten used to walking in them, but the heel is as high as my last boots and I was hoping for something shorter. They are ok for a day or evening out, but teaching in them all day is difficult. Still, I like them and they were a good buy.
