I have to dress "business casual" but also have to walk 8 blocks to/from work every day. I wanted a shoe that would be versatile and go well with khaki pants for business or jeans for a night out. I also wanted one that would hold up for the wear I put it through walking to work or around town and have some traction if I have to walk in the snow or mud. This shoe has a very accurate fit and is very comfortable for basically being a classy cut-off work boot. The ONLY complaint I have is the shoe laces are the type that don't want to stay tied. Great shoe and I'll be buying again.

My husband said these Lugz shoes are even more comfortable than the Lugz Drifters he usually buys. The insole has more cushioning and the shoes remained comfortable even after being on his feet for 8+ hours.

This is the second pair I bought, and sure will order many more in the future. They are nice restaurant work boots.

Men's Lugz Savoy SR get an A+

The Men's Lugz Savoy SR shoes get an A+ rating from me. They are well constructed, durable, reasonably priced and look great. I have had one pair for 4 years and I recently purchased another pair. The first pair I purchased look as good today as the day I bought them and are still in full service.CONS: I had to have them resoled after a couple of years of wear, the plastic heal supports for the back of the shoes broke down after 3 years of use and I ended up pulling the plastic out because it was putting wear on my socks. (Wish I had used a shoe horn then as I do now.) The material at the upper rim of the shoes has degraded in color as well. I say again, this is after 4 years of almost daily use and is to be expected. The arch support shanks are made of metal which I had replaced with composite shanks for clearing metal detectors at my work.PROS: Comfortable, affordable and great complement to any uniform. Good for work and ?Class A? wear at the same time. They take a good shine and look sharp. The fit is perfect. Properly hemmed pants give the appearance of a boot. I recommend ordering 2 pairs at a time for years of footwear satisfaction.
