The shoes initially seemed shockingly light and flimsy; the insoles seemed attached with a dab of glue that quickly came loose. I was tempted to return them, but decided to stick it out, and they've held up.

Hush Puppies did a fine job capturing an earlier age in these shoes. The look, feel, fit and comfort are all outstanding, and I was happy to finally find a wide shoe on shoebuy.com - they're often short such options. These are terrific for weekend wear, with a uniqe color and tone highlighted by the off-white lug soles and white laces. I highly recommend them as a casual Friday/weekend option. Great shoes.
