Men's Lucchese Since 1883 N1112-54

Product Description (Men's Lucchese Since 1883 N1112-54)

Appropriately named for the year Lucchese created it's first boots, the 1883 brand is reminiscent of the traditional hallmarks of handcrafted boots noted with that era. With 1883, Lucchese rededicates its century-long commitment to craftsmanship and quality while incorporating "fashionable up to the minute" styling for your lifestyle. Lucchese 1883....a true modern classic. This boot has an alligator vamp, an ornamented goat leather shaft, a pointed toe, and a cuban heel. Features a 5 Toe design which is a pointed toe with a slightly squared edge. Has a 4 Cowboy heel which is a 1.5" heel with a slanted back and vertical front.

The head cut hornback caiman skin is beautiful...both in terms of the pattern of the tiles and the color snd finish. They are exactly as shown in the photographs. The caiman and calf leather construction is an attractive combination that makes the boots look a little more cowboy casual and well suited for jeans. The calf leather shaft is very supple. Overall the boots are very comfortable from the first wearing.I have narrow feet and usually buy a size B or C in boots but the 1883 line only comes in D width. However, by inserting an insole and wearing a heavier boot sock, I have taken up the extra width. My only issue is that I would have liked to try the size 10 on for size before I bought the size 10-1/2, but they were not available at ShoeBuy when I ordered this pair. And no western boot stores (in the three states that I was able to visit) stock this particular boot. With the adjustments that I made, the boots are comfortable enough, but the half larger size and the snip toe design make the boots looks a little larger on my feet than my other boots.
Wears this shoe: everywhere with jeans...mostly in the cooler months
