Working as a Law Enforcement Officer in Alaska requires a special standard of footwear. A co-worker suggested Lowa Boots and I can't thank him enough. The Lowa Upplander GTX have a great duty boot design and are super light weight. The soles are very slip resistant and have great traction. The boots took about a week to fully wear in but they get the highest rating for comfort. The only thing I dislike about the Lowa Upplander GTX Boots is the cheap boot laces they came with. I've yet to wear the boots through an Alaskan Winter, but I will try and comment on them come spring. I highly recommend these boots and hope to get many years out of them.
Wears this shoe: Daily, 40+ hours a week.
