Comfy boot

I bought this boot to fill the void between my casual Skechers and blizzard-bashing Columbia Bugaboots. This is a very warm boot, and fits true to size with my Asics, Adidas, and Skechers. It is super-light and stylish. My jeans fit easily over them and the black/green coloring tones down the tough 'boot' aspect of these. I have yet to test them in deep snow and sub zero temperatures, so any comments on their rough performance may not be accurate. If you wear insoles like me, there is plenty of room.

So Far So Good, I like this Boot

I purchased this boot for winter hiking in Upstate NY and the Adirondack mountain region. I have only used them for some short romps in the snow-covered woods so far, but I am loving these boots. My feet stayed warm and dry, even after breaking through the ice and getting into some water and slush. The boots are insulated but not too much, so that my feet never got too hot the way they have in some other insulated boots. All in all these Lowas kept my feet very comfortable during my 1 1/2 hour treck last Saturday in the snow. I may add some type of insert to give some added arch support, and although I felt no discomfort after 1 1/2 hours, the footbed could probably use a bit more cushioning, as it is rather hard. Again, this can be fixed with an insert. All in all, I'm very pleased so far and would definitely buy these boots again.
