Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I've had these boots for almost a year now and love them. I wear them everyday in and out of the office to construction sites and they are still in great shape. Also have done a fair number of 2 to 4 mile hikes in them. They are a little taller than hiking boots that I have previously owned, but the extra height provides great stability. I hope that they are still available when it's time to replace these. I thought that they were a little pricy to start with, but after trying them on and wearing them for almost a year now, they were worth the investment.

New Favorite March 31, 2012

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I've been trying different brands of hiking boots for quite some time now and have been continuously searching for the right pair for my level of activity which consists mostly of day hikes of the 10 to fifteen mile range over established trails. Although these Lowa Trekker II boots seem a bit heavier due to their all leather construction as opposed to other synthetic boots I have previously owned once I am out on the trail I don't seem to notice. They also are a bit taller which adds to the stability. I think I am going to explore more styles made by Lowa in the future but for now the Trekkers are my new favorites. All that's left for me is to get them good and broken in as I think they will only become more comfortable with time. Right now I have hiked about 60-70 miles with this pair and they still look new leading me to believe the quality construction will make for a long lasting boot.
