I bought this shoe because, first of all, Lowa is one of, if not THE, top names in shoes. Also, I liked the look, the style and the fact that I could wear this shoe to occasions that called for nicer than normal dress. After buying this pair of shoes, I told a friend that I wouldn't be buying shoes again for a very long time. Well, guess what. The soles wore out in 9 months. Can't tell you how disappointed I was! But (and you might think I am crazy), I liked them so much that I bought another pair and only wear them about 1/2 the time. I'm hoping to get at least two years out of the new ones.
