Happy with purchase

My last pair of Lowa hiking boots lasted 10 years. Great quality. My new boots fit perfectly and the style and color are exactly as portrayed on Shoebuy. If you are looking for a sturdy, durable hiking/backpacking boot this is it. My husband and I swear this brand is the only one we will ever buy again for backpacking in West Virginia

Lowas boots are simply unrivaled.
By Jack, from Mountains of NC | July 09, 2014

I bought this boot for hiking and military wear. It is by far the most comfortable boot I have ever owned, especially on the heel, toes and front pads of the feet (I should mention I have custom insoles in them so the balls of the feet don't apply). The ankle support feels very solid, which is surprising for such a light boot. They've kept the feet dry through the summer highs so far. It was quite a bit of money for boots, but on the matter of footwear, you really do get what you pay for. Having worn these on multiple 10+ mile hikes, I can certainly say with 100% confidence that I recommend these boots. They are a little exaggerated on the design ques but the uniform tans keep it all together. I've gotten plenty of inquiries about where to get them. Anyway awesome boots. Well done Lowa. Well done.

Lowa Mega Camp $374.95
Phenomenal Boots
By Shmuel Reuven Carmy, from Jerusalem, Israel | July 08, 2014

I recently purchased Lowa Mega Camp boots. I noticed that I can run quite fast even uphill, wearing them! Initially, there were some sweat marks on the inner glove leather lining after wearing them for the first few hours. Later on, though, (it's summer here in Israel where I live), even after 6 or more hours of wearing them in hot weather, the lining remained perfectly clean and sans-sweat. I added Israeli Oman Comfort leather insoles, that among their various features, functioned to raise my foot higher in the boot, because otherwise there was too much room for a stable secure fit. I love these boots! I highly recommend them not just as a military, police, etc. hiking boot, but also for anyone that has had any difficulty recuperating from an ankle injury. They can function better than a brace. They are actually even really comfortable wearing when lying down, for those that can lie down and rest for a bit while working. Of course, I can't leave out how beneficial their Achilles flex system is to allow even for those that don't have Achilles problems that added flexibility which can really come in handy. Thank You Lowa, for a really phenomenal boot.

3rd Pair in Family
By SW, from KC, MO | June 25, 2014

Both my wife and son have this (non-Pro versions) boot and raved about it. My wife used hers for the first time hiking the Inka Trail. The only potential negative I have ever read has to do with stitching/binding, but I haven't had mine long enough for that problem to manifest itself. It's a decent investment in a boot, but everything points to it being worth the price. Fits well & is very comfortable.

Founded in Jetzendorf, Germany in 1923 (more than 80 years ago), you know that you can trust LOWA to provide you with the best comfort and support throughout your journey.

You are now a few hours into your hike. Your LOWA boots are making your hike an easier one and you begin to appreciate some of the features of LOWA footwear. Men's LOWA boots are designed with Asymmetric Walking Position, an angle that is set in the ankle portion of the boots to provide a more balanced stance. Women's LOWA boots feature the Comfort Cuff Spoiler, a soft and flexible section around the back of the Achilles area that provides added comfort. Perforations are added to the cuff lining on LOWA boots to promote airflow and pull moisture from your feet.

You continue to ascend and are nearing the mountain peak. Thanks to their waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® lining, your boots are as comfortable and dry as they were when you commenced your hike. Finally, you reach the summit. You have completed another successful adventure with your LOWAs. One question enters your mind: Where should you take your LOWA boots next?
