I have two styles of Lowa boots, purchased after trying many, many other brands. They seem well-made and waterproof. Goretex is always a plus. I usually wear a wide due to bunions, but I thought the toe crease of the wide size Renegades might eventually cause problems, so I tried the regular width. They fit great with one pair of wool socks. That is, they are wide "enough." I wore them for 6 miles on my first outing with them with no problem. And, the coolest thing about the regular width is they come in colors. I got the red, and my sister-in-law just ordered the prune (purple). I'm happy that Shoebuy stocks these colors!

This is a wonderful shoe and my second pair of Lowa boots. They take absolutely no breaking in. I wore them on a short 3 mile walk first day and a few days later did a full day hike with no pinching and no blisters. Walked in a lot of water also with no leakage. I own an Adventure Travel company, and several of my clients have bought this exact shoe based on my recommendation. In fact, I walked the 500 mile Camino de Santiago across Spain and had absolutely zero foot issues, not one blister with my original pair so I knew that this new pair would do just as well and it is. I bought the first pair in 2008 and wore it until I replaced them.Keep up the good work! This hiker is very pleased with your shoes!
