This is the second pair of GTX lo's that I have had. They are on the expensive side, but like anything you get what you pay for. When I wear these out which takes quite a while I will probably buy another pair..

I know the products of that company and I trust them. I bought these shoes for the city and not for hard outdoor hiking. They are perfect also for bad weather (GoreTex). On my opinion, they can also be used as very good hiking shoes as long as the terrain does not demand shoes supporting your ankles. It was a good choice.

They look pretty good, feel pretty good, but not great. I haven't given them a lot of hard use yet so can't comment on the comfort after a long day but, they are fairly light weight and haven't caused any discomfort of any kind I find in almost every shoe I try. I was hoping for better arch support. And most reviews I read on every site that sells them said they run smaller than marked so order a size up - honestly I did not find this to be true. I chose to keep them though since two other pair of Italian shoes I have (La Sportiva and Zamberlan) are tight in the toe area which made me reluctant to try the smaller size. I have to wear pretty heavy socks with the Lowas to keep them from feeling sloppy on my feet but I guess that's ok. I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't demand the ultimate arch support. Too new to comment on durability but they do seem to be very well put together.

Likes: Quality, comfort, style, gortexDislikes: Removable insole, feels too thin for proper support.Bought it for everyday wear. Owned Lowa for 8 years and just threw out 1st pair. Incredible wearability.
