I have utilized the Lowa KhumbuMidGTX as a training boot for 2 years now. It is very light compared to other boots but also offers the stability and comfort for extensive hiking, pack marching and are suitable to run in as well.

Great shoe. Have only had a few trips with the GTX but overall the shoe fits and performs great. Did a small approach to one of my local climbing spots and found the soles to be extremely grippe when descending steep rock slabs, nice and stable as well. Weight was also great for a higher style shoe which i was pleased about. Haven't used them with a pack over 20kgs yet.
